Today I was asked to perform at a network marketing meeting. Dual Concept Marketing (DCM) is yet another of this new breed of these network marketing organisations, like BNI, BNX and the others.
The idea of this group seems really good in that they strive to only allow people who deliver quality services, making the group a tight nit set of highly effective, productive people who are proud to refer business to one another.
WHY was there a mind reader and psychological magician there? Was I there to network. Well no but I did anyway. I was asked there as the guest speaker...they have one each meeting...I performed for around 20 minutes and talked for a further 15 about what I do for corporate and private functions. Everyone seems really nice and many of them came up to me afterwards to ask for my contact details.
Overall it was a very positive and productive day. Tomorrow night I'm performing at As You Like It in Newcastle.
